Under the combined effects of several forces, such as the pressure generated as the space in the squeeze chest becoming smaller, the propulsion of the revolving spiral axes, the resistance of the multilateral arc curves on the squeeze loops, the extrusion & friction between the oil plants, oil was squeezed from the oil plants coming out of the squeeze bars and the grooves of the squeeze loops. The residue is conveyed to the end of the press chest and it discharges in thin strips of oil cake from the space between the cake adjuster and the loop for the cake out. Then the whole separation process of oil from oil plants is completed.
Practice proved that squeezing in a hot way is better than that in a cold way, respecting the oil output and economic efficiency. So we suggest customers use a hot way when possible.
Squeezing in a cold way requires more squeezing times which will reduce machine’s capacity, raise cake’s oil content and electricity consumption, thus reducing the economic benefits. In addition, the cake of the first time is not easy to break because the oil plants have high moisture. When squeezed again, the cake will affect the feeding and require frequent stirring which will reduce the operating efficiency.
